OUR TEAM

Huseyin Yener

Executive Producer

Huseyin Yener brings over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, specializing in hedge funds, private banking, and treasury. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Middle East Technical University and a master’s degree in Cinema and TV from Bahcesehir University. Leveraging his unique blend of financial acumen and passion for cinema, Huseyin launched Turkey’s first and only regulated Film Fund. This groundbreaking fund aims to bridge the gap between finance and filmmaking, providing structured financial support to film projects in Turkey. The film “Barselo,” which he produced, has been selected as one of the films competing for the “Golden Orange” in the National Feature Film Competition at the 62nd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. This pioneering initiative has set a new standard for film financing in the region and has opened new avenues for Turkish filmmakers.

Huseyin has also made his mark internationally as an executive producer. His recent project, the feature-length movie “Somnium” (2024), produced in the USA, received the “Best American Feature 2024” award at the 22nd Female Eye Film Festival.

Currently, Huseyin is focusing on producing Turkish TV series, bringing his extensive experience in finance and his innovative approach to the entertainment industry. His work continues to enhance the global presence and quality of Turkish productions.

Berna Atalay

Executive Producer

With over 25 years of experience in financial markets, Berna Atalay joins Yener Medya as a Partner, focusing on international funding and financial operations.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ankara in Political Science and is fluent in English, German, and Turkish. An expert in strategic management and business development, Berna has extensive experience in emerging markets, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe.

She has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and driving revenue growth. Before entering the film industry, Berna held leadership roles at UniCredit Bank AG in Munich, where she was Head of CEE Solutions Sales. She played a key role in establishing UniCredit’s presence in Turkey, Russia, CIS, CEE, and Israel, developing business strategies and enhancing
client relationships.

Her deep understanding of sectoral drivers and commitment to integrity make her a valuable asset to Yener Medya. At Yener Medya, she aims to leverage her financial expertise to support the company’s growth and position it as a leader in the Turkish TV series production industry.
